2021 MAZDA CX-5
The 2021 Mazda CX-5 still offers a satisfying drive with modern infotainment features. The infotainment display was expanded from 7.0 inches to 10.3 inches for this model, along with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ support, Mazda Connected Services for remote access, and the Mazda Connect interface. Under the hood, this model features a four-cylinder, 187-horsepower engine, with an available turbocharger upgrade bringing it up to 250 horsepower.
2024 MAZDA CX-5
The biggest change between these two model years was a redesign: the front and rear now have a smoother, more dynamic look, along with new LED headlights. All-wheel drive is now standard, along with a Drive Mode selector that lets you dial in performance for your driving conditions. The turbocharged engine has also had a minor power boost, bringing it up to 256 horsepower.
Which One Should I Get?
These two models share many features, including a suite of preventative safety technology. The 2024 Mazda CX-5 lets you customize your performance more with the Drive Mode Selector, but they feature the same powertrain and similar performance. With the main difference being the dynamic new look of the 2024 model, the choice may come down to your personal preference.
